Laser Liposuction is a procedure fairly recently approved by the government that can complement traditional liposuction. Tradition procedures are still required for large areas like the tummy, saddle bags, and hips.

Because only small incisions are needed, the skin experiences very little trauma and can recover quickly. Unlike traditional liposuction, there are no stitches required after the procedure and most patients only need a day for recovery and can resume their normal activities very quickly after the procedure. It is more cost effective in that only local anesthesia is needed and therefore does not require an anesthesiologist, which can be a costly part of any surgery.

The entire procedure usually takes less than an hour per area and while laser liposuction will not replace tradition liposuction procedures, it makes for a good complement for those who already have had liposuction surgery or are trying to get rid of small stubborn pockets of fat. It is provides a way for someone to tone up the body in a subtle way that can make a difference in how they look and feel.
